Off Grid-, Grid-Tied- and Hybrid Photovoltaic (PV) Systems are custom-designed to the clients requirements. The Photovoltaic Systems can be roof-mounted or installed on the surface.
Off-grid and hybrid systems supply electricity to the building from solar panels and also charge batteries which provide electricity during the night.
Grid-tied systems are tied to the municipal supply and provide electricity during the day, but have no battery back-up. When the municipal supply is interrupted, no electricity is supplied to the building.
UPS systems provide power to individual systems in the event of power failure from municipal supply. The size of the system depends on the specific requirements of the user and the UPS System is designed accordingly.
Solar geysers use natural sunlight to warm the water in the pipes and transfer it back to a holding tank.
Different Solar Systems are available:
Thermosiphon Systems – Water is circulated through flat-plate collectors and returned to the geyser. The continuous circulation process ensures maximum heating of the water during daytime.
Pump Systems - Consist of a solar collector (flat plate or evacuated tubes), a geyser, a circulation pump, a geyser controller and temperature probes. When the collector is warmer than the water in the geyser, the pump circulates the cooler water from the geyser through the warmer collector. This process continues until the water in the geyser has reached the desired temperature.
Existing geysers can be retro-fitted by connecting the geyser to a solar collector or solar panels.
PV Systems – Solar panels are installed on the roof of the building. The solar energy generated is used to heat the water in the geyser.
